XDS: An X-Files - Due South
- Star Wars Crossover
I have to admit it. This is the most
monumental task I've ever taken on as a fan fiction writer. So,
in that sense alone, I'm rather proud of this work. (That doesn't
mean it's good, of course - you'll have to decide that for yourself.)
What happens? Well, FBI Agent Fox Mulder suddenly gets interested
in a seemingly insignificant case in Chicago, Illinois. Naturally,
Agent Dana Scully gets pulled along with her partner's enthusiasm.
Before long, Detective Ray Vecchio of the Chicago PD and Constable
Benton Fraser of the RCMP are mixed in the fray. Things get even
more intriguing when some folks from a galaxy far, far away come
into the picture. Oh yeah, -- there's even a Wookie and a wolf
popping up from time to time. Interested?
This is one of the very first pieces
I wrote (sometime in late 1996, I think - was before I got the
bright idea of dating my work), that actually made it to public
viewing. Now, sometimes when I go back and read it, I can't help
but cringe and think "I wrote that?!" But, I suppose
everyone has to start somewhere. It's a short, possible post-Darksaber
"what might could happen" scenario, written primarily
because I was so irritated with the ending of Darksaber.
I don't know that it's technically a
poem, but it's something like that. A work I wrote in 1997, during
the release of the Special Editions. (It was actually "inspired"
during a viewing at the time.)
Written in October 1997, this is the
first of a what might actually develop into a series of stories
for which I have an idea, all dealing with the character of Luke
Skywalker. This story is set immediately after The Empire
Strikes Back.
This is the second work in that possible
series of Luke Skywalker stories. This one is set shortly after
A New Hope.
This one is just for fun. I wrote it
as something of a parody during October 1997 as I (and many others)
anxiously awaited the November release date of Timothy
Zahn's newest work, Spector of the Past.
Speaking of Zahn... here's a little
piece that is intended to be inserted immediately at the end
of Chapter 42 in Vision of the Future (which is awesome,
by the way).
